What makes a good photo?
Photo Guidelines for Best Results:
1. Make sure your pet’s photo is taken in a well-lit space—natural lighting works best. Avoid using filters or dark indoor lighting, as they can affect the final illustration.
2. Take a close-up photo of your pet from the front, making sure the ears, head, neck, and upper chest are visible. Your pet should be centered in the frame for the best composition.
3. Please don’t use photos that are taken from above, heavily filtered, blurry, or where your pet is lying down. These types of images often can't be illustrated properly.
Can you illustrate other animals?
Yes, absolutely! Send us a high-resolution photo of your animal, and we'll take care of the rest!
Can I have more than one pet in a photo?
Absolutely! We can definitely include more than one pet in a portrait. However, the more pets that are added, the harder it becomes to maintain the same level of detail and quality in the artwork. For the best results, we recommend a maximum of three pets per portrait. This helps ensure each pet is captured beautifully and with care!
How long does shipping take?

Shipping durations vary depending on the product ordered:
- POSTERS: 4-7 business days
- MUGS: 5-7 business days
- PILLOWS: 5-12 business days

Returns
Since every order is personalized and uniquely made, we do not accept returns. However, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee- if you're not happy with your item upon receiving it, we’ll remake and replace it free of charge.
Will I be able to preview my portrait before it ships?
To ensure your order is processed as quickly as possible, we don’t offer artwork previews or proofs. But no worries—if the photo you send isn’t quite right for a great portrait, we’ll reach out and ask for a better one!
Can I make changes to my order?
Absolutely! We're happy to help with any changes to your pet portrait order—just make sure to email us at pdoprints@gmail.com within 1 hour of placing your order.
After that window, most changes (including address updates) may no longer be possible. Please keep in mind that any edits could result in slight shipping delays.
